CEA embodies the production of plants, vegetables, fruits, herbs and more in indoor structures where technology-driven environmental factors, temperature, humidity, lighting, and nutrients can be precisely controlled resulting in optimized plant growth and production.
CEA is an adjunct food production system to traditional farming that helps provide more vegetables, fruits, herbs, microgreens and more in a highly controlled indoor production environment. CEA utilizes resources sustainably and efficiently through reduced land area and water requirements, is pesticide-free agriculture, provides uniform year-round production, local food sourcing, higher yields of crops and fresher and more nutritious food.
